Get ready for the most anticipated beach tennis tournament at Manly Beach! Players from across Australia and overseas are excited about this incredible event.

This year's event includes:

  • ITF Tournament (Pro): BT10 Event #1 & BT10 Event #2

  • Over 40's

  • Doubles Amateur categories A, B and C

  • Mixed doubles Amateur categories A, B, C & Over 40's

Enrollments Close on 16th of April for ITF Players and 26th of April for Amateurs Players.

Saturday 2nd of May (From 7am)

  • ITF BT10 Event #1 Pro Category (16 Teams only)

  • Male Doubles categories A, B and C

  • Female Doubles categories A, B and C

    7pm - Tournament Dinner     (location to be confirmed)

Sunday 3rd of May (From 7am)

  • ITF BT10 Event #2 Pro Category (16 Teams only)

  • Mixed Doubles categories A, B, C & Over 40's

  • Doubles Over 40's (Male & Female)

FEES:

 

ITF PRO Players: 

  • 1 Event $79/player (ITF BT10 Event #1 OR ITF BT10 Event #2)

  • 2 Event $149/player (ITF BT10 #1 AND ITF BT10 #2) pay $129 (First 50 registrations)


AMATEURS Event:
Over 40's, categories A, B, and C.

  • 1 Event $79/player (Doubles OR Mixed OR Over 40's)​

  • 2 Events $ 149/player (Doubles AND/OR Mixed AND/OR Over 40's), pay $129 (First 50 registrations)

  • 3 Events $169/player (Doubles AND/OR Mixed AND/OR Over 40's ) pay $149 (First 50 registrations)

The first 50 registrants will get a special discount of $20 off for 2 or more events.

ITF Players:

If you're participating in the ITF (PRO) event your team must be registered on the IPIN website for both events.
The deadline for registration is 16th of April

Over 40's:
*The Over 40's category will be divided into male and female, and mixed teams will not be accepted. Any player who turns 40 years old in 2026 is eligible to participate in this category.

​ITF BT10 #2 & Over 40's

Please note that players participating in the ITF BT10 #1 will be eligible to compete in the Over 40's on Saturday.

​ITF BT10 #1 & Amateurs Players (Cat. A)

Please note that players participating in the ITF BT10 #1 will NOT be eligible to compete in both categories on Saturday

RULES:

 

ITF Doubles category

ITF Category with maximum of 16 doubles in a elimination round. 

All games will be played in two set first in 6 games No-Ad scoring and a Match Tie-break in lieu of a third set.

Amateurs Doubles Categories

The Amateurs Tournament will be divided into groups, where all teams within the same group will compete against each other.

All matches in the group stage will be played in one set, with the first team to reach 6 games.
In the finals, the format will be one set to 6 games.

Each team is guaranteed to play at least two games in the tournament.

​​Time & Schedule

The tournament will commence on Saturday, the 2nd, beginning at 7am, followed by matches starting at 7 am on Sunday, the 3rd.

Originally, the tournament was scheduled to conclude at 3 pm on Sunday. However, please note that this timeline might be subject to change due to weather forecasts and the possibility of longer matches.

  

The official schedule will be released on April 30rd, Via Tournify.
ITF Tournament draws will be accessible the day before the scheduled event.

 

All doubles teams are required to check in at the tournament 30 minutes before their scheduled match time. If any player is absent from the court at the scheduled time, a walkover (W.O.) will be enforced.

CATEGORIES

PRO CATEGORY

Players at this level compete in ITF Tournaments and have advanced in the knockout phases of those competitions. It features the highest level of skill and competition.

CATEGORY A

Advanced players who require more training, strength, conditioning, and experience to compete at PRO level. Players at this level may have reached semi-finals or finals in the former intermediate categories

CATEGORY B

Experienced players who have been competing for some time. Players may have reached semi-finals or finals in the former beginners categories.

CATEGORY C

Former beginners who have been playing and competing for a while, or players with strong tennis or racket sports skills adapting to beach tennis.


If any of the new categories fail to meet the minimum number of participating teams, the organization reserves the right to merge two categories, such as combining Category C with B or Category B with A.

Agreement & Indemnity

Although the safety of all sport activities is the primary concern, outdoor sport activities at Manly Beach Tennis Open 2026 facilities may cause injuries and/or death.  I expressly assume the risk of injury, death, and/or illness arising from any cause, and agree to waive the right to pursue any claim against the organizers and the persons in charge.


I, the participant specified above, confirm that I read all the information above and I am in perfect health for the practice of Beach Tennis and I accept financial responsibility for any injury that I may cause either to myself or to any other participant due to my negligence. I further agree to indemnify and hold harmless Australian Beach Tennis their principals, agents, trainers and volunteers from liability for the injury or death of any person(s) and damage that may result from my negligent or intentional act or omission while participating in activities offered by Australian BT This is includes but is not limited to parks, recreations area, playgrounds, area adjacent and/or area selected for Australian Beach Tennis for beach tennis practice.

Cancellation of registrations will be accepted until 15th of April 2026 with a 100% of the payment back. After this date no refund will be received. As an outdoor event, the weather cannot be controlled. If the event is forced to be cancelled due to weather, a credit for future ABT tournaments will be offered.
