Get ready for the most anticipated beach tennis tournament at Manly Beach! Players from across Australia and overseas are excited about this incredible event.

This year's event includes:

  • ITF Tournament (Pro): BT10 Event 1 and BT10 Event 2

  • Mixed Doubles Pro

  • Over 40's

  • Doubles Amateur categories A, B and C

  • Mixed doubles Amateur categories A, B, C & Over 40's

  • Super-tiebreak

Enrollments Close on 18th of March for ITF Players and 31st of March for Amateurs Players.

Saturday 5th of March (From 7am)

  • ITF BT10 Event 1 Pro Category

  • Male Doubles categories A, B, C & Over 40's

  • Female Doubles categories A, B, C & Over 40's

  • Super-tiebreak Event (any gender and any level combination)

  • Mixed Doubles Pro (Round 16 and 8)
     

7pm - Tournament Dinner (location to be confirmed)
 

Sunday 6th of March (From 7am)

  • ITF BT10 Event 2 Pro Category

  • Mixed Doubles Pro (QF, SF, Final)

  • Mixed Doubles categories A, B, C & Over 40's

ITF PRO Players: 

  • 1 Event (ITF BT10 OR ITF BT50) $69/player

  • 2 Event (Over 40's OR ITF BT10 AND ITF BT50) $138/player

  • 3 Events Event (ITF BT10 AND ITF BT50 AND Mixed Double Pro OR Over 40's ) $149/player

  • 4 Events Event (Over 40's AND ITF BT10 AND ITF BT50 AND Mixed Double Pro) $159/player


AMATEURS Event:
Over 40's, categories A, B, C, and D.

  • 1 Event $69/player (Doubles OR Mixed OR Over 40's)​

  • 2 Events $ 138/player (Doubles AND Mixed OR Over 40's)

  • 3 Events $149/player (Doubles AND Mixed AND Over 40's)

Super Tibreak: $15
To play the super-tiebreak, you must enroll in one of the main categories listed above

You can play up to 4 mains categories plus the super-tiebrake.

 

The first 50 amateurs registrants will get a special discount of $20 off for 2 or more events.

Pro players will get $10 off for the 3rd event and $20 for the 4th event


Important Informations:

ITF Players:

If you're participating in the ITF (PRO) event your team must be registered on the IPIN website for both events.
The deadline for registration is March 18th.

Over 40's Event:
*The Over 40's categories will be divided into male and female, and mixed teams will not be accepted. Any player who turns 40 years old in 2025 is eligible to participate in this category.

​ITF BT10 & Over 40's

Please note that players participating in the ITF BT10 will be eligible to compete in the Over 40's on Saturday

​​Rules:

ITF and Mixed Doubles Open category

ITF & Open Level Category with maximum of 16 doubles in a elimination round. 

All games will be played in two set first in 6 games No-Ad scoring and a Match Tie-break in lieu of a third set.

Amateurs Doubles Categories

The Amateurs Tournament will be divided into groups, where all teams within the same group will compete against each other.

All matches in the group stage will be played in one set, with the first team to reach 6 games.
In the finals, the format will be one set to 6 games.

Each team is guaranteed to play at least two games in the tournament.

​​Time & Schedule

The tournament will commence on Saturday, the 5th, beginning at 7am, followed by matches starting at 7 am on Sunday, the 6th.

Originally, the tournament was scheduled to conclude at 3 pm on Sunday. However, please note that this timeline might be subject to change due to weather forecasts and the possibility of longer matches.

  

The official schedule will be released on March 31st, Via Tournify.
ITF Tournament draws will be accessible the day before the scheduled event.

 

All doubles teams are required to check in at the tournament 30 minutes before their scheduled match time. If any player is absent from the court at the scheduled time, a walkover (W.O.) will be enforced.

CATEGORIES

PRO CATEGORY

Players at this level compete in ITF Tournaments and have advanced in the knockout phases of those competitions. It features the highest level of skill and competition.

CATEGORY A

Advanced players who require more training, strength, conditioning, and experience to compete at PRO level. Players at this level may have reached semi-finals or finals in the former intermediate categories

CATEGORY B

Experienced players who have been competing for some time. Players may have reached semi-finals or finals in the former beginners categories.

CATEGORY C

Former beginners are competing for the first time or who have been playing and competing for a while.


If any of the new categories fail to meet the minimum number of participating teams, the organization reserves the right to merge two categories, such as combining Category C with B or Category B with A.

Your spot in the Tournament only will be granted after you and your partner submit the form and pay the fee.

Agreement & Indemnity

Although the safety of all sport activities is the primary concern, outdoor sport activities at Manly Beach Tennis Open 2025 facilities may cause injuries and/or death.  I expressly assume the risk of injury, death, and/or illness arising from any cause, and agree to waive the right to pursue any claim against the organizers and the persons in charge.


I, the participant specified above, confirm that I read all the information above and I am in perfect health for the practice of Beach Tennis and I accept financial responsibility for any injury that I may cause either to myself or to any other participant due to my negligence. I further agree to indemnify and hold harmless Australian Beach Tennis their principals, agents, trainers and volunteers from liability for the injury or death of any person(s) and damage that may result from my negligent or intentional act or omission while participating in activities offered by Australian BT This is includes but is not limited to parks, recreations area, playgrounds, area adjacent and/or area selected for Australian Beach Tennis for beach tennis practice.

Cancellation of registrations will be accepted until 31st of March 2025 with a 100% of the payment back. After this date no refund will be received. As an outdoor event, the weather cannot be controlled. If the event is forced to be cancelled due to weather, a credit for future ABT tournaments will be offered.
