TOURNAMENT SCHEDULE

When: 

10th of April 2021 from 7am* (All groups and Single Players)

11th  of April 2021   from 7am* , (All groups and Single Players)
 

  *All the doubles teams and single players need to check in the tournament 30 minutes before their scheduled time. If one of the players is not in court at the scheduled time W.O. will be applied.
   

Where: N Steyne, Queenscliff Beach - NSW

 

Please see some important information below: 

1. Don't forget your water bottle, sunscreen, umbrella and racket.  As usual we are gonna provide cold water (only, no cups or bottle) and some fruits during the Tournament. It will be a long day, so bring snacks and food.
    

2. For the schedule to work:

• As soon as you finish your match please inform the result ASAP

• If you see an empty court and you aren't the next one to play DON'T use the court to  warm up, you'll have time before your game for that.

• Each ball has a number according to the court (C, 2, 3 or 4). Use only the balls corresponding to your court number and give the others back.

Be prepared to enjoy a full day on Saturday and Sunday.

 

 Below is the Tournament Games and Schedule. 

 

• Men's Open
  Elimination Round Format. All games will be played in two sets first in 6 games No-Ad scoring and a Match Tie-break in lieu of a third set.
  
  Mixed Doubles
  Elimination Round Format. All games will be played in one set first in 6 games No-Ad scoring.
  Final will be played in one set first in 8 games No-Ad scoring. 
  
  Mixed Doubles Service
  Mixed doubles tournament The man has to serve underarms, The woman can serve overhead.  
  
  Doubles
  If the category has 2 Groups, the first two (2) double teams in each group advance to the next round.
  If the category has 4 Groups, only the first double teams in each group advance to the next round.
  All games will be played in one set first in 6 games, except for the finals that will be in one set first in 8 games No-Ad scoring.
  A tie break will be played if the match is 6-6 or in the final 8-8 games.  
  
  Singles
  Singles tournament will be Open Level in an elimination round.
  The matches will be played in one Set, first in 6 games, except for the finals that will be in one Set first in 8 games.
  A tie break will be played if the match is 6-6 or in the final 8-8 games.
  
  Remember to respect the "Prohibited Service Return Zone" as showing attached.

  Rackets
  To improve your game it is important to always play with the same racket. Gradually you will know the weight and the way it responds when you attack or defend a ball during the game.

  If you do not have a racket, we will have some rackets to lend that will have to be divided among the athletes due to the large number of enrolments.
  
  SATURDAY'S BARBECUE
  Brazilian Flame is one of ours sponsors and they will organize a Brazilian BBQ on SATURDAY from 5pm to 7pm at the park in front of the Tournament.
  There're a limited number of spots, so it is important to buy your ticket ($23/person) to be granted your spot.
